Job Summary
FNB is seeking a Trust Administrator to support its Global Fiduciary team. The role focuses on managing trust administration processes, ensuring compliance with offshore regulations, and providing operational support to trustees.
This position is suited for someone with experience in trust administration or the fiduciary/legal field who can manage detailed documentation, compliance, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Trust Administration & Compliance
- Handle trust administration tasks for offshore jurisdictions
- Prepare trustee resolutions, minutes, and related documents
- Ensure compliance with foreign trust laws and regulatory requirements
- Monitor statutory deadlines and reporting obligations
- Support governance, record-keeping, and audit readiness
Client & Relationship Management
- Maintain professional relationships with trustees and stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality client service
- Assist with due diligence and AML compliance processes
- Liaise with compliance teams and external service providers
Operations & Documentation
- Manage and maintain accurate client records
- Coordinate distributions, loan repayments, and fees
- Assist with opening and maintaining trust bank and investment accounts
- Prepare correspondence and documentation for trustees
- Identify and escalate risks where necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years experience in trust administration
- Background in fiduciary services or legal field (advantage)
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory processes
- Ability to work with complex data and documentation
- Excellent organisational skills
