Bursary Overview
The Sasol Mainstream Bursary Programme supports students pursuing full-time undergraduate and postgraduate studies in engineering and science fields. In addition to financial assistance, the programme offers developmental support and potential career opportunities within Sasol after graduation.
Important Note
This bursary includes a workback and/or payback obligation, meaning recipients may be required to work for Sasol after completing their studies.

Undergraduate (B.Eng Tech – Universities of Technology)

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be studying or planning to study in one of the listed fields
- Must meet academic requirements (strong performance in relevant subjects)
- Must meet Sasol’s specific programme criteria
- Must be willing to enter into a workback agreement
- Must be committed to full-time studies
Selection Criteria
- Academic excellence
- Strong performance in Mathematics and Science
- Interest in engineering, science, or data-related fields
- Commitment to career development in the energy or engineering sector
