Position: IT Support Engineer
Location: Centurion
Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 per month
About the role:
Looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven IT Support Engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for solving real-world problems in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide onsite support for desktops and laptops (Windows 10/11)
Maintain and troubleshoot physical servers
Resolve network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues
Configure switches, firewalls and routers at basic level
Support VPNs and remote users
Manage Active Directory and user accounts
Handle printers, IP phones and mobile devices
Ensure endpoint security including AV, EDR, patching
Work with international remote teams
Document, troubleshoot and escalate when needed
What you need:
5–10 years IT Support experience with strong onsite exposure
Solid Windows environment experience
Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Server troubleshooting experience
Hands-on with Wi-Fi, switches and basic firewall configuration
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Bonus skills (advantageous):
Microsoft 365 / Office 365
Active Directory and Group Policy
PowerShell scripting
IT Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
