About the Opportunity:
EHA Group is seeking skilled and experienced tradespeople to perform maintenance, repairs, and minor construction work at a major mining site. This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-demand industrial environment where safety, precision, and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plumber:
- Installation and repair of water systems
- Fault finding and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety and SANS standards
Bricklayer:
- Bricklaying, blockwork, and plastering
- Repair and maintenance of structures
- Compliance with OHS Act and site procedures
Carpenter:
- Installation and repair of doors, frames, and fixtures
- General building maintenance
- Accurate fitting and workmanship
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 or Matric
- Relevant trade qualification OR 3–5 years’ experience
- Industrial or mining experience (advantageous)
- Medically fit for mining work
- Valid South African ID
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in a mining environment
- Strong adherence to safety procedures
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding role
- Local labour preference may apply to Venetia Mine labour-sending areas
