Momentum Metropolitan Holdings is inviting applications for the Risk Technology Intern position within the Group Risk Management team.
This internship is designed for tech-savvy graduates or final-year students who want to gain hands-on experience in automation, digital transformation, and risk technology.
The successful candidate will work with the Operational Risk Technology team, helping develop digital solutions that improve operational risk processes through data analysis, automation, and workflow optimisation.
This opportunity provides exposure to Microsoft Power Platform technologies, risk management systems, and enterprise digital tools.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- National Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Higher Certificate
Fields of study:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Risk Management
- Operations Management
- Or a related field with an interest in technology
Note:
Final-year students requiring workplace-based learning experience may also apply.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Applicants should have knowledge of:
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) – preferably PL-900 level
- Relational database structures and design
- SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Data security and compliance practices
- Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
Advantageous Skills
The following will be beneficial but are not required:
- PL-200 certification
- PL-400 certification (highly advantageous)
- Experience with SQL, Python, or data analytics
- Participation in hackathons or university technology projects
- Membership in university IT or innovation societies
Key Responsibilities
Technology Development and Automation
- Assist with developing low-code automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
- Build model-driven and canvas applications to digitise operational risk processes
- Create automated workflows to improve efficiency
- Support the development of risk dashboards and reports
Operational Risk and Process Support
- Assist in documenting risk processes and system enhancements
- Support digitisation of manual processes
- Perform data cleaning and validation
- Assist with reporting and data analysis
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Maintain test logs and system documentation
- Assist with troubleshooting system issues
- Support change management and version control processes
Documentation and User Support
- Prepare solution design documents
- Document data models and process flows
- Assist in creating training materials and user guides
- Provide administrative support within the technology team
