Position: Specialist: Supply Chain Management
Contract Type: 2-Year Fixed Contract

๐ ๏ธ Key Duties
Manage demand and acquisition processes in line with public sector regulations
Ensure compliance with SCM policies, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and procurement legislation
Assist with drafting specifications and procurement planning
Conduct market and commodity research
Maintain Central Supplier Database (CSD) compliance
Manage bid committees and procurement processes
Develop internal controls for procurement activities
Prepare monthly SCM and procurement reports
Monitor procurement against approved plans and budgets
Manage supplier relationships and service level agreements (SLAs)
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls
Supervise and manage SCM unit operations
๐ Requirements
NQF Level 7 qualification in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 yearsโ SCM experience (3 years at supervisory level)
Strong knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, PPPFA, and BBBEE Act
Experience in public sector procurement systems and compliance
Understanding of contract management and strategic sourcing
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and National Treasury systems)
Proven experience in a compliant public sector SCM environment
