About the Role

T&T Academy is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to partner with management in delivering strategic and operational HR solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle while driving key HR initiatives across organizational design, talent acquisition, employee relations, and workforce development.

This role requires a hands-on HR professional with strong experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and a proven ability to navigate complex employee relations matters within a unionised workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and offboarding.
  • Lead organizational design and job profiling initiatives.
  • Facilitate talent acquisition and workforce planning activities.
  • Provide guidance on employment relations and labour law matters.
  • Investigate and resolve complex workplace issues and employee grievances.
  • Represent the company in CCMA proceedings and labour-related disputes.
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems and employee records.
  • Support performance management, succession planning, and talent development processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, unions, and management teams.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions within an organization.
  • Previous experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, or Mining industries is essential.
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing and multi-unionised environment.
