Programme Overview
This is a 12-month structured learnership designed for unemployed South African youth to gain hands-on experience in sales, merchandising, and retail execution. Participants will receive workplace-based training, commercial exposure, and customer service development to build strong retail competencies.

What You Will Learn
In-Store Execution & Merchandising
- Execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets
- Implement visual merchandising standards
- Set up in-store displays according to brand guidelines
- Manage stock rotation, freshness, and product availability
- Support promotional campaigns and customer orders via MyCCBA
Sales & Customer Interaction
- Collaborate with the sales team on daily tasks
- Learn commercial and sales strategies
- Understand consumer preferences and buying behaviour
- Provide excellent customer service

Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
- Grade 12 English and a second language (minimum 40%)
- South African citizen, aged 18–35
- Unemployed at the time of appointment
- Not enrolled in any other learnership or full-time study
- No previous completion of the same qualification
- No criminal record or adverse credit history
- Available to work six days a week
- Must be an Employment Equity candidate
Additional Advantage: Valid driver’s licence; post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing
