Programme Overview
The Truworths Stores Learnership is a hands-on retail training programme that allows learners to gain practical experience in fashion retail, customer service, and store operations. Learners will be trained in both sales floor and service desk operations, making them well-rounded retail professionals.
What You Will Learn
Sales Floor Experience
- Assist customers with finding merchandise
- Provide styling advice and product knowledge
- Build strong customer relationships
- Deliver excellent customer service
Service Desk & POS Training
- Process payments using POS systems
- Open new customer accounts
- Handle exchanges and returns
- Manage account-related queries
Merchandising & Stock Control
- Merchandise stores according to MBP principles
- Monitor and control stock losses
- Assist with stock replenishment
- Maintain store presentation standards
Assessments
- Complete practical and theoretical training
- Submit logbooks
- Prepare for formal assessments
- Demonstrate competency as a cross-trained sales consultant
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Grade 10
- Passion for fashion and retail
- No prior retail experience required
