Job Overview
FlySafair is seeking a GDS Administrator to support airline ticketing, fare validation, and revenue reconciliation processes. The role focuses on managing airline distribution data, validating coupons, and ensuring accurate settlement between systems.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in airline, travel, or reservations environments and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, validate, and close IET coupons according to procedures
- Monitor ADM reports and track fare discrepancies
- Escalate unresolved issues to GDS Coordinator
- Assist with refund processing and re-accommodation administration
- Validate ticketing data between reservation and settlement systems (e.g. BSP/SIS)
- Perform reconciliation between ticketing and finance systems
- Maintain GDS tracking tools, billing records, and spreadsheets
- Support interline communication and internal stakeholders
- Handle ADM-related queries and escalate when needed
- Maintain accurate records and daily reporting
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- 1–3 years experience in airline, travel, reservations, or distribution environment
- Experience in data-heavy, system-driven environments
- Exposure to GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) advantageous
- Knowledge of airline ticketing, fare rules, and settlement processes
- Understanding of ADM and interline billing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
