Job Purpose
The Artisan Fitter Boiler is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of boiler systems and related mechanical equipment within a power station environment. The role focuses on safety, performance, and minimizing downtime of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on boiler systems
- Carry out corrective repairs on mechanical equipment
- Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
- Follow plant safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Use proper tools and protective equipment
- Monitor equipment performance
- Attend maintenance and operational meetings
- Report faults and recommend improvements
