Main Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning Areas
The successful candidate will clean facilities such as:
- Halls
- Chalets
- Guesthouses
- Ablution facilities
- Lapa areas
- Storerooms
- Offices
Cleaning Tasks
Typical duties include:
- Cleaning windows, floors, walls, and doors
- Cleaning fridges and stoves
- Washing and organizing cutlery
- Laundry and ironing
- Washing and sanitizing waste bins
Hygiene and Supply Maintenance
The cleaner will also ensure hygiene supplies are available, including:
- Liquid hand soap
- Toilet paper
- Hand towels
- Air fresheners
Equipment Care
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping cleaning materials organized
- Maintaining cleaning equipment
- Reporting broken cleaning machines
- Informing supervisors of damaged equipment
Health and Safety
Employees must:
- Follow workplace safety procedures
- Use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report hazards or safety issues
