Role Overview
This is a 12-month learnership designed to give unemployed young people both theoretical training and practical workplace experience in a contact centre environment within the health and insurance sector. Successful learners will work towards an Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor (NQF Level 5).
Completion does not guarantee employment, but it provides strong workplace experience and improves future job opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) completed
- Mathematics 40% OR Mathematical Literacy 60%
- English + another South African language (minimum 50%)
- South African citizen aged 18–30
- Unemployed and not studying during the learnership
- Must be able to travel to Bellville (within 30km of Parc du Cap)
- Must not have completed the same learnership before
- Certified ID and Matric certificate (not older than 3 months)
- Computer literacy is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
Training & Learning
- Attend classroom and workplace training sessions
- Learn company products, policies, and systems
- Complete logbooks and a portfolio of evidence (SETA requirements)
- Pass assessments (formative and summative)
- Apply learning in real workplace situations
Client Service
- Handle client queries and provide accurate support
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Follow service level agreements (SLAs)
- Improve service quality and turnaround times
- Ensure professional and efficient communication
