  • Studying Honours, Master’s, or Doctoral degree

  • Must be under 35 years old

Payment Structure

    • Master’s: 2 years
    • Doctoral: 3 years (based on performance)

Academic & Reporting Requirements

  • Honours: submit semester results
  • Master’s & PhD: mid-year + annual progress reports (signed by supervisor)
  • Must maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout

Work-Back Obligation

  • Must work for Council for Scientific and Industrial Research after graduation
  • Service period equals number of years funded

Vacation Work

  • Opportunity to work on CSIR projects during holidays
  • Up to 6 weeks per year (depending on supervisor availability)
