- Position: Forestry Superintendent (C1 grading, permanent).
- Purpose: Plan, supervise & oversee silviculture & harvesting operations to achieve estate management objectives and sustainable fibre production within SHEQ parameters.
- Main duties: supervise harvesting teams, determine silviculture & harvesting methods, manage environmental risk, budget & production targets, interpret aerial photos, fire suppression, equipment operation, land reclamation, timber sales, and conservation projects.
- Requirements: Grade 12 + National Diploma/Degree in Forestry, valid driver’s licence, 3 years relevant experience, skills in silviculture planning, leadership & teamwork.
