Job Summary
adidas is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its Wonderpark store. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supporting daily store operations, and contributing to sales performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
The successful candidate will assist with customer service, stock handling, store presentation, and sales transactions while maintaining brand standards and store policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service at all times
- Assist customers in selecting suitable products
- Process sales transactions (cash, card, and other payment methods)
- Support stock flow from stockroom to sales floor
- Assist with merchandising and store displays
- Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Monitor the sales floor for security and loss prevention
- Follow all store policies and procedures
- Participate in training and development programmes
- Use selling techniques such as upselling and product recommendations
- Support store performance through strong product knowledge
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 0–1 year retail experience (advantage but not essential)
- Strong interest in retail and customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
