Job Summary
Motus Aftermarket Parts is seeking a Salesperson for the Nylstroom Midas branch. The role focuses on selling automotive spares, achieving sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, generating sales, and supporting overall branch performance.
This position requires strong sales ability, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers
- Sell automotive spares and meet sales targets
- Manage counter sales and maximise customer opportunities
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and provide quotations
- Conduct cold calling when necessary
- Report on sales forecasts and customer demand
- Monitor and report competitor pricing and activity
- Maintain and grow customer relationships
- Resolve customer issues related to deliveries and accounts
- Support internal departments such as accounts, warehouse, and dispatch
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales within spares, motor, or engine environment (essential)
- Experience in automotive sales and customer service
- Technical background (advantage)
- Strong product knowledge in automotive parts
- Good understanding of sales costs and break-even concepts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of local geographical area
- Clear criminal record
